About Luisma González Jiménez
Spanish saxophonist Luis María González Jiménez has earned global recognition as a performer, educator, and researcher. A laureate of more than ten first prizes in international competitions, he’s appeared as a soloist at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Théâtre du Châtelet, and the Palau de la Música, while also performing with orchestras across Europe, Asia, and North America. Now based in Paris, he teaches at the CRD Marcel Dupré and serves as principal saxophonist of the Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Almería. Alongside an active chamber music and recording career, he is pursuing doctoral research at the University of Granada, and is an endorsing artist for Henri Selmer Paris, D'Addario, and JLV Sound.
