About Simon Gattringer

Named his native Austria’s best young drummer in 2008 and currently one of Germany's most sought-after live and studio players, Simon Gattringer studied at Anton Bruckner Private University and complete the renowned Popkurs in Hamburg before establishing himself on the German music scene. Since then, he’s performed and recorded with artists including Johannes Oerding, Udo Lindenberg, Max Mutzke, Joy Denalane, Max Herre, Jan Delay, Adel Tawil, and Helene Fischer. He currently teaches and tours with Johannes Oerding and holds the drum chair for TV house band The Mighty Winterscheidts.
