Maple is a difficult wood for sticks but amazing if care is taken to select the right weight and hardness. These sticks miss the mark on both. For the length, a minimum of 60 grams per stick should be standard. Both pairs I purchased where too soft and too light. And, I couldn't find a logic to the shape, as no rebound seemed to be a benefit from the front loaded shape. A miss, entirely and for the bin.
