Nicole Johänntgen

Nicole Johänntgen is a German saxophonist, composer, educator, and workshop leader, based in Switzerland, known for a bold style, vibrant stage presence, and passion for education. She’s a standout voice in contemporary jazz, as well as the recipient of nine national and international awards. Nicole balances an acclaimed performing career with a massive online following, becoming one of the most recognized saxophonists on social platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Beyond physical and social stages, Nicole is deeply committed to music education and artist advocacy. She founded the Kids Jazz Club to introduce children to music in an accessible, creative way, and launched SOFIA (Support Of Female Improvising Artists), a workshop initiative supporting women in jazz.
