I am very pleased with the ability to customize my string set. I am a lap steel player who currently has a steel guitar set up to be played like a violin, so the ability to put together a custom set of Chromes enables me to get closer to what I am trying to achieve. I will be a customer for life and my fans will be able to enjoy something new and groundbreaking from a lap steel.
I've been using them for years after switching from the much more expensive Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds. The Chromes seem to have a bit more definition to them for someone like me who's a fingerstyle jazz guitarist that uses fingertips and not nails.
Very good being able to purchase the exact strings you want.
Great product great strings
It’s great to have custom gauges, and know the quality is good.
Why don’t you bring back the Kaplan Golden Spirals for upright bass ?
Great set for my style of music. I'm a very soft touch, legato guitarist. Jazz/blues. Mostly clean warm tones.
I ordered the wrong set and threw the chromes in the trash and used the exl custom set!
Perfect set of strings for my Fender Jaguar!
