Sammi Katzmann

She’s a saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, who jumps from piano to bassoon to her signature sax, all while pulling from avant-garde jazz, indie rock, and experimental music. It’s no wonder Sammi Katzmann doesn’t fit neatly into a box. But maybe that's part of the point. How else could she have created a sound that's distinctly her own? Katzmann spent years immersed in New York's jazz scene before emerging as one half of the duo KatzPascale with cellist Jenna Pascale. Along the way, she's performed everywhere from the Whitney Museum of American Art to Irving Plaza and collaborated across the worlds of music and fashion.
