About Sierra Hull

A mandolin virtuoso and bluegrass prodigy, Sierra Hull has captivated audiences with her technical brilliance and emotive songwriting. Signed to Rounder Records at just 13, she studied at Berklee College of Music and quickly became a standout in the bluegrass scene. Her 2016 album Weighted Mind, produced by Béla Fleck, showcased her evolution as an artist, blending traditional bluegrass with contemporary folk and jazz influences. Hull’s command of the mandolin is matched by her rich, expressive vocals, making her one of the most respected figures in progressive bluegrass. Her recent work, including 25 Trips (2020), continues to push the boundaries of the genre while staying rooted in its rich traditions.
