This version of Scott Johnson’s signature marching snare stick features the same dimensions as the standard lacquered DC17, but with the enhanced durability of FireGrain. The DC17 model was designed with DCI Hall-of-Famer Scott Johnson and features a medium taper with a large round tip, to offer a wide range of dynamics on the drum while still providing a great feel in the player’s hands. By keeping their original weight, balance, and attack, ProMark FireGrain sticks allow drummers to hit harder and play longer, naturally.

Make it consistent when it comes to weight and pitch of the marching stick. Because i received uneven weight and sound.

The quality control on the player's circle sticks aren't too great in my experience. Maybe Im just pulling the short straw everytime. I always try to get firegrain scojo's with my points every time I get enough and it's always a dud. I got some DCPM1's and they were fine though. Just seems to be the scojo firegrains. Not mad, just idk why it's always that specific model.

I absolutely love these sticks. Great weight and durability. As an instructor they feel great on the drums, but are exceptional “clicker sticks” that cut and project beautifully. I would give these sticks more stars if I could and hope Promark considers doing a fire grain for the Jeff Ausdemore sticks in the future 😉

They feel really good and shiped fast

Fantastic stick that are beautiful. They are heavuer than their normal DC17 counterpart. A great stick to practice with!
