About Dirk Verbeuren

Since its formation in the ‘80s, Megadeth has featured numerous drummers who are now beloved by metal fans around the world. It’s not easy filling the shoes of legends like Gar Samuelson and Nick Menza. But Dick Verbeuren, who’s held down the kit since joining the band full time in 2016. Born in Belgium, Verbeuren has also performed with Soilwork, Danzig, fellow thrash icons Testament, Devin Townsend, and At the Gates. On the side, he’s had acclaimed success as a session drummer, studio manager, clinician, and educator for up-and-coming drummers around the world.
