About Håkan Rosengren

Internationally acclaimed clarinetist Håkan Rosengren performs as soloist, recitalist, and chamber music partner throughout Europe, the U.S., and in Brazil, Israel, China, Japan, and South Korea. In his native Sweden and other Nordic countries, Rosengren has repeatedly performed as a soloist with nearly every major orchestra. Elsewhere Rosengren has appeared with the Los Angeles Mozart Orchestra, Minas Gerais Symphony (Brazil), Israeli Chamber Orchestra, and many more. A champion of new music, several composers have written and dedicated works to Rosengren. He’s has also given masterclasses throughout Europe and won first prizes in competitions the world over.
