XS Phosphor Bronze String Sets

I have Royal Tricone Resonator that was a little tinny when amplified. This special set of extra heavy strings 0.16 to 0.62 did the trick. The guitar now has great sustain and extra bass punch. The high note strings are louder but the sound is fuller and the tinny sound totally gone.

Sweet!
Easy!
The best!

Easy customization. I'm experimenting with a version of the XS Hybrid Light, but changed the first 3 strings to a slightly lighter guage (13s to 12.5s).

Quality strings, guages to fit my hands!

What a great idea to provide customised string sets. Ideal for alternative tunings, such as DADGAD or CGCGCEb.
Delivered to me in the U.K. way quicker than I expected too.

I’m digging them. I’m sure I will order more custom sets.

Love the strings! And obviously the ability to customize which gauges I receive is important for alternate tunings!

XS strings are fantastic! Having the ability to customize them is the cherry on top.

Always great tone and now I get the exact string tension I want to get the best playability

I am happy I can customize my string sets gauge. Before I wasted half my strings because I had to pull out of different strings sets to get the matchup that works for me. Nice touch with being able to label my own string sets too. Ultimately, it would be perfect if I could custom order a bulk box with all my gauges. That would be perfect for me. These strings are by far the best sounding strings I have used and I have tried them all . Nice work at D'Addario!

No one offers the level of customization, together with excellent string quality, in a long-lived string like D’Addario XS. I have tried dozen brands and keep coming ba k to D’Addario XS.

Love these XS strings. Great feel, long lasting AND I can get them in my custom sizing!

Many thanks for making these custom string sets! I play and record mostly in dropped / alternate tunings and would have to sometimes replace a high E string with a B string, for example. Another custom set was modified for DADGAD which helps balance the string tension and overall timbre. Finally, the XS Phosphor Bronze strings are strong, stay in tune and last longer than anything else I’ve tried.

Perfect 7 string acoustic set that no one else even makes.
