Calvin Falwell

Calvin Falwell is a respected clarinetist, educator, and D’Addario Woodwinds artist currently holding the 3rd/Bass Clarinet chair with the Sarasota Orchestra and serving as Assistant Professor of Clarinet at the University of South Florida. He’s performed with leading ensembles including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Des Moines Metro Opera, and the Fort Worth Symphony, and is a core member of the Philadelphia-based Network for New Music. A passionate teacher, Calvin has led masterclasses across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Offstage, he’s an avid gravel cyclist, balancing a rich musical life with family and the occasional cyclocross race.
