Alí Arango is one of the most prominent guitarists of his generation, expressing a virtuosity which blends subtlety and expressive power, he has conquered all types of audiences and juries. He has given concerts on five continents, performed in famous concert halls, and won 23 awards in international classical guitar competitions, such as the "Francisco Tárrega" International Classical Guitar Competition, & the "Andrés Segovia" International Classical Guitar Competition. Several composers have dedicated works to Alí and he himself has composed works for guitar and other instruments, as well as music for video-art and documentaries.
