We couldn’t find string wire consistent enough for our needs, so we learned how to make our own. The machines we created are now the most sophisticated in the world, and right down the hall from our factory floor.

NY Steel

A high-carbon steel core made in NY and at the heart of our premium strings like XS, XT and NYXL, NY Steel brings incredible pitch stability and durability.

Fusion Twist

Invented to prevent slack in the twist to keep you in tune and ensure maximum tuning stability. Higher break strength also means you can keep sounding good night after night.

Hex Core Construction

We engineered the hexagonal core to better grip the wrap wire back in the 80s. Since then, we've watched it become the new standard for superior dimensional stability, durability and precise intonation.
