About Luis González Garrido

A rising star in the classical saxophone world, Luis González Garrido is quickly becoming known for his expressive depth, technical skill, and commanding stage presence. A winner of over ten international competitions, including the III AlpenClassica and the INAEM Prize, Luis has performed at premier venues like the Palau de la Música Catalana, Petit Palais, and Teatros del Canal. Additionally, he’s been featured at major festivals, including Les Nuits dans les Jardins de l'Alcazar Royal, SummerWinds, and the Festival Européen Jeunes Talents. Luis also lends his talents in the studio to acclaimed artists such as Joë Christophe and Yakir Arbib, and co-founded the genre-blending Duo Métis with guitarist Antoine Guerrero. In 2025, he was named a Talent Adami Classique.
