Duo Kontaxakis-Ivanovich, formed by Michalis Kontaxakis and Dejan Ivanovich in 2004, is an internationally recognized classical guitar duo. They debuted with the national premiere of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto Madrigal in Portugal, and later performed in a tribute concert for Rodrigo’s 20th anniversary, under the patronage of the Joaquín Rodrigo Foundation. The duo has played at prestigious festivals across Germany, Serbia, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and Croatia. They released a critically acclaimed debut album, Les Deux Amis, in 2010.
