About Herman Li

Born in Hong Kong, Herman Li is the guitarist, songwriter, and producer of the Grammy-nominated metal band DragonForce. Over 15 years, he has become one of the most influential guitarists of his generation, winning Metal Hammer's Golden Gods 'Best Shredder' twice and topping four Guitar World categories. Li has performed with legends like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. He developed the Ibanez EGEN guitar series and contributes lessons to major publications. Li's interests include technology, martial arts, and Porsche racing. Notable awards include RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications and a Grammy nomination.
