There are many factors that can affect the lifespan of your strings. Here are some tips to help extend the life of your strings:

1. Wipe down your strings after each use.

D'Addario NYXL are the best strings I have ever used. Why not 5 stars? No guitar string is perfect. I buy a lot of guitar strings. I use Players Circle to get credit to get more. Like I said they are the best electric guitar strings available. The only issue I have with all makes is the marketing of how strings last long. NYXL strings may last the longest, but the physics of steel is elasticity changes after movement. That's why I buy some many strings. Nothing like new strings. NYXLs stay tune after only a short break-in. Until something better they are my strings. Oh, one more thing, I feel any coating.

I started using NYXLs a while back and have continued ever since. If you can see my order history, I also use XS strings on my acoustics. GOOD STRINGS.

Not as impressed as I used to be. They don't seem to last as long but I've also changed as a player and the climate where I'm at is pretty humid so I think strings are more prone to corrosion. Looking for a solution. Monel strings perhaps?

They really do last significantly longer and stay in tune better than regular strings. The extra expense is def worth it.

I switched my Tele from the original Fender 9's that t came with to the NYXL 10's. Awesome upgrade in feel and sound. I'm hooked on Daddario NYXL 10's. My bends are far more accurate, and they stay in tune forever as long as I keep my guitar humidified, which has nothing to do with the strings. Asa bonus my pinch harmonics are way more predictable. La Grange, here I come!
