The device works great when used with my left hand. However, when I use it with my right hand, the pistons don’t move as smoothly. Due to the angle at which my fingers apply pressure, something inside the mechanism seems to catch or rub against other parts, causing the pistons to stick slightly as I press them down. This makes the movement feel less smooth and natural compared to using it with my left hand.
Overall, it’s a useful product, but I think the mechanism could be improved to work equally well with both hands.
So far I have had minimal use of the Varigrip+ Hand exerciser. But I am happy with my purchase and look forward to further use hopefully improving strength and dexterity of my hand. Time will tell.

I'm using this as a metal drummer for finger strengthening and dexterity (mainly for blast beats) as well as for warming up and keeping warm during rehearsal. It's been working very well and also doubles as a nice fidget toy during monotonous work meetings/calls.
