• What can I customize?

  You can select your preferred gauges from available string families (NYXL, XL Nickel, XL Chromes, Phosphor Bronze, XS Phosphor Bronze) and name your set. Your Set Name will be printed on the label, making it truly bespoke and unique to you!

• Do Players Choice Custom String Sets ship worldwide?

  We ship custom products to the US, UK, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and Switzerland.

• When will my Players Choice Custom String Sets ship?

  For US shipments, up to 5 business days. For Canada, UK, and EU shipments, up to 20 business days.

  
  Please allow 1-2 weeks for ground delivery.

  
  Custom orders cannot be rushed or expedited.  

• Can I mix and match any type of string to build my own set?

  Not quite. Players Choice Custom String Sets allow you to select your own gauges from a specific family of strings (NYXL, XL Nickel, XL Chromes, Phosphor Bronze, XS Phosphor Bronze), but it is not set up to allow you to mix different types of strings (Chromes with NYXL, for example). For that particular use case, we recommend you use String Tension Pro and source individual single strings. 

• Do I have to be a Players Circle member to purchase Players Choice Custom String Sets?

  No, you can design and purchase Players Choice Custom String Sets without being a Players Circle member. 

   

  Nevertheless, we encourage you to sign up as Players Circle members benefit from perks such as the ability to save favorite custom sets, earn Players Circle Points, and quickly reorder custom sets.  

• Do Players Choice Custom String Sets award Players Circle Points?

  Yes! Once you order a Players Choice Custom String Set, your Players Circle Code will be sent to you in your Shipping Confirmation Email.

   

  Unfortunately, Players Choice Custom String Sets cannot be purchased with Players Circle points. Since these are made to order, they can only be paid for in USD, GBP, EUR, or CAD.

• Why don’t custom sets come with colored ball-end strings?

  D’Addario’s color-coded ball-end system works for standard sets with fixed gauges and positions. Offering it for fully customizable sets—with all the variety we are offering in terms of alloys and gauges—would require 9 to the power of 263 (9^263) unique ball-end-string combinations—an impossible number to manufacture.*

   

  But don’t worry! We’ve attached colored ball-end stickers to each string position so you can restring your guitar confidently.

   

  *Not an exaggeration. 9^263 is so astronomically big of a number, imagine trying to play every possible riff ever made, using every note, tuning, string gauge—on every guitar ever made, for eternity—and still not even scratching the surface. THAT big.

• Can I return my Custom String Set?

  Custom products cannot be returned. If you believe that your custom product is defective, please contact us for support. 

• Can I make changes to my custom set after I place the order?

  Players Choice Custom String Sets are made to order, and we cannot make changes to it after the order has been placed. We advise you to double-check your set carefully before placing your order.
