About Alex G

American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alex G. began his musical journey by self-releasing lo-fi recordings on Bandcamp, gradually building a dedicated following. His early works, such as Race (2010) and Trick (2012), showcased his distinctive blend of indie rock and experimental pop. In 2015, Alex G signed with Domino Recording Company and released Beach Music, marking his transition to a broader audience. He gained further recognition for his contributions to Frank Ocean's albums Blonde and Endless in 2016. His 2022 album, God Save the Animals, continued to explore diverse musical landscapes. Known for his prolific output and DIY ethos, Alex G has become a significant figure in contemporary indie music.
