About Arcis Saxophon Quartett

Founded in Munich in 2009, the Arcis Saxophon Quartett has earned an international reputation for bringing extraordinary energy, precision, and artistry to the classical saxophone repertoire. Featuring Claus Hierluksch (soprano), Bernardo Correia Pereira (alto), Sonia Tcherepanov (tenor), and Jure Knez (baritone), the quartet is known for performances that balance technical brilliance with a deeply unified musical voice. Winners of numerous international chamber music competitions and recipients of the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize, the ensemble has performed at leading venues including the Philharmonie Berlin, Philharmonie Munich, and London's Wigmore Hall, while touring extensively throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Americas.
