Mike Shinoda

Mike Shinoda is a rare multi-hyphenate creative: songwriter, performer, record producer, film composer, and visual artist, best known as co-lead vocalist of Linkin Park. The band’s 2000 debut Hybrid Theory has sold more than 30 million copies, earning it a Diamond certification by the RIAA and making it the best-selling debut album of the 21st century.

Alongside the band’s beloved late frontman Chester Bennington, Shinoda shaped Linkin Park’s blend of rock, rap, nu metal, and electronic, leading to a streak of #1 albums, headlining world tours, and era-defining hits like “In The End,” “Numb,” and “Bleed It Out.” Over the past two decades, Shinoda has also pursued solo projects, scored films, visual art, and has successfully produced for other artists.

As for Linkin Park, the band’s legacy of headlining domination continues with a new singer, Emily Armstrong, as well as the Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition, Papercuts greatest hits collection, and the band’s latest album, 2024’s From Zero.
