I have a couple of medium/high end acoustic guitars that I like the setup and sound. I also have an Epiphone AJ 100CE (laminated top) that I use for practice. I have it set up nicely but the sound is too boomy and woody for my taste. I purchased the O-Port in hopes that it would even out the overall sound frequency range reducing the boom. It made a noticeable improvement noting my Epiphone with the O-Port doesn’t sound as good as my Gibson but it’s closer and I am now more apt to practice with the Epiphone. It installed easily noting I was careful not to collapse the O-Port any more than necessary to slide in the hole as I have read that some people have had issues with them cracking.
