Guitarist, songwriter, and producer Andy Martongelli has been entrenched in the Hard Rock/Metal world since 1999, when his metal band Arthemis started their Music journey. From 1999 to present day, Andy has recorded with Arthemis and many others, including Ellefson, Power Quest, Killer Klown, The Snake, in addition to constant touring and performing.
During his career as solo artist, Andy has shared the stage with or opened for several iconic rock guitar players including Steve Vai, Marty Friedman, Guthrie Govan, Paul Gilbert, Michael Angelo Batio, Kiko, Andy Timmons, Frank Gambale, Gus G, Ola Englund, Andy James, and many more, displaying his incredible stage presence, creativity, and showmanship throughout. His creative process and technical approach to guitar has continued to evolve over the years, creating a real trademark for fans and guitarists alike.
Andy has written instructional guitar books and DVDs, worked as a session-guitarist and producer, and is currently the head of the Rock-Metal Guitar Department at Modern Music Institute (MMI). Andy is also a guitar tutor and teaches masterclasses and workshops around the world.
