As a sideman in the UK Jazz Scene, Jamie has played with most of his contemporaries and peers, as well as crossing into the electronic pop and DnB world. He’s played and recorded with jazz giants like Sun Ra Arkestra, Knoel Scott, and Cecil Brooks, as well as many others in today's jazz scene, most notably, David Binney, Donny McCaslin, Gary Husband, and Guthrie Govan, to name a few.
Jamie is involved in several projects, consistently touring Europe and the USA as a sideman and bandleader. His projects "Drumcat" and "JZ Replacement" have enabled Jamie to perform across the world in the Jazz/Crossover scene with some of the most innovative and forward-thinking musicians of today. His new album with David Binney and Donny McCaslin as a bandleader and his first album "Disrespectful" featuring bass legend Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie, Donny McCaslin, Vinnie Colaiuta) and Russian sax master Zhenya Strigalev (Eric Harland, Ambrose Akinmusire, Aaron Parks) is out via the Rainy Days record label on all music platforms.
