André Cimiotti is a saxophonist and woodwind doubler based in Cologne, Germany. As the lead alto saxophonist for the Glenn Miller Orchestra (Europe) from 2001 to 2007, the Big Band of the German Armed Forces since 2008, and the Pepe Lienhard Big Band in Switzerland since 2016, he has toured extensively throughout Europe and overseas. His composition "YO!" was recorded by the Cologne Saxophone Quintet featuring Bob Mintzer and has been performed by saxophone ensembles worldwide ever since.
