"The Kaplan Forza is a great string set that gives my viola a great combination of responsiveness and balanced structure in sound. They only take a few minutes to settle in and last longer than most other strings. What more could a violist want??"

"The Kaplan Amo C string affords me the perfect balance of warm, power, and clarity. Never underpowered, the string is remarkably quick to respond to a variety of articulations and to abrupt tone-color changes. Bravo on fantastic product! The A string is the jack-of-all-trades, able to match all any of D'Addario's strings."
VIOLA STRING NOTES
The strings on a viola are C, G, D, and A, in order from lowest to highest.
HOW MANY STRINGS DOES A VIOLA HAVE?
The viola has four strings.
WHAT ARE VIOLA STRINGS MADE OF?
Most viola strings fall into one of three categories: gut, synthetic, and steel. The earliest known viola string was “gut,” which was made from the small intestines of cows or sheep. In present times, it’s more common for strings to be made from steel or a synthetic (often nylon) blend of fibers.
