XL ProSteels use a stainless steel wrap wire, enhancing their interaction with magnetic pickups, yielding a distinctly bright and present tone.

Round wound strings have the feel and tone that most players are familiar with. This string construction combines the strength of the steel core with the tonal properties of the wrap wire alloy.
FLATWOUND CONSTRUCTION
Flat wound strings feature precisely flattened stainless steel wrap wire that is wound and polished to provide an ultra smooth feel and a full, mellow tone.
HALF ROUND CONSTRUCTION
Half round strings utilize centerless grinding to flatten the playing surface. This process results in a smooth feel and reduced finger noise, with flexibility and tone similar to round wound strings.
